  • 6 oz strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 1/2 cups salted pretzels
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water and set aside to cool.
  2. Crush the pretzels in a Ziploc bag using a rolling pin. Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in sugar, then mix in crushed pretzels. Press into a greased 13×9 dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over the cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  4. Stir sliced strawberries into cooled Jell-O mixture, pour over the cream cheese layer, and refrigerate until set (2 to 4 hours).
