Ingredients
- 6 oz strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 1/2 cups salted pretzels
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water and set aside to cool.
- Crush the pretzels in a Ziploc bag using a rolling pin. Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in sugar, then mix in crushed pretzels. Press into a greased 13×9 dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over the cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Stir sliced strawberries into cooled Jell-O mixture, pour over the cream cheese layer, and refrigerate until set (2 to 4 hours).
