- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 12 ounces lump crab meat (checked for shells)
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- Old Bay seasoning

Instructions
- In a large Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery; sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables; cook while stirring for about 2 minutes until lightly golden.
- Gradually whisk in warmed milk and seafood stock; stir constantly to prevent lumps.
- Add tomato paste, bay leaves, and Old Bay seasoning; simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream; simmer for another 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add shrimp; cook for about 3–4 minutes until pink.
- Gently fold in crab meat and sherry; heat through for an additional two minutes.
- Remove bay leaves; adjust seasonings with salt and white pepper as needed.
