Ingredients
- 1 ½ tbsp butter
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ cup onion (chopped)
- 1 pound boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Sauté the chopped green bell pepper and onion in melted butter over medium heat until softened (3-4 minutes).
- Remove veggies and cook rib-eye steak in the same pan with remaining butter, seasoning with salt and pepper until browned (3-4 minutes).
- Combine sautéed vegetables with cooked steak.
- Place half a slice of provolone cheese on each egg roll wrapper followed by 2-3 tablespoons of the filling.
- Fold and seal each egg roll using water along the edges.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan; fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown (3-5 minutes).
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
