  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • Optional: Shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and rice; stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and place the chicken breasts on top.
  4. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the chicken.
  5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. For added richness, uncover during the last 10 minutes and sprinkle shredded cheese on top if desired.
