  • 2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 large apples, chopped
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • sprinkle of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon; mix in melted butter and press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually mix in sugar, flour, sour cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust; layer chopped apples mixed with brown sugar and spices on top; pour remaining cheesecake mixture over.
  5. Bake for approximately 50 minutes until set; cool before chilling for at least four hours.
  6. Serve topped with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel sauce.
