Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 24 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sour cream, room temperature
- 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 large apples, chopped
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- sprinkle of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon; mix in melted butter and press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually mix in sugar, flour, sour cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Add eggs one at a time.
- Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust; layer chopped apples mixed with brown sugar and spices on top; pour remaining cheesecake mixture over.
- Bake for approximately 50 minutes until set; cool before chilling for at least four hours.
- Serve topped with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel sauce.
