  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Season chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown (8–10 minutes) and nearly cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken; in the same skillet, sauté shallots and garlic in butter until soft.
  4. Stir in flour to create a roux; gradually whisk in chicken broth, milk, and heavy cream until thickened.
