- 30 oz marshmallows (divided)
- 18 cups puffed rice cereal (divided)
- 9 oz unsalted butter (divided)
- Red & blue food coloring
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- For the red layer: Melt 3 oz of butter in a saucepan, add 10 oz of marshmallows, and mix until smooth. Stir in red food coloring and mix with 6 cups of cereal. Press into the dish.
- For the white layer: Repeat with another 3 oz of butter and marshmallows without coloring. Mix with 6 cups of cereal and layer on top.
- For the blue layer: Melt another 3 oz of butter, add 10 oz of marshmallows and blue food coloring. Mix with final 6 cups of cereal and press on top.
- Allow to set at room temperature before cutting into squares.
